Sustainable Home Improvement Partnership (SHIP)

About SHIP

The Sustainable Home Improvement Partnership (SHIP) repairs the homes of veterans, seniors, and disabled residents in collaboration with local nonprofits and citizen volunteers.

SHIP's mission is to improve the homes and neighborhoods of disadvantaged individuals and families by making essential repairs which homeowners could not otherwise afford. SHIP helps residents stay safe in their homes and remain in their neighborhood and existing community.

SHIP Partners

SHIP is currently supported by The United Way of Allegheny County, thousands of citizen volunteers, and is a joint effort between the servePGH initiative and the following organizations:

We are grateful to The United Way of Allegheny County for its investment in SHIP and demonstrated commitment to healthy, safe communities.
